    Parents and children or student groups can experience and enjoy these activities together and learn about opera music and theatre. Music listening guides and music games assist with exploration of the elements of orchestral and opera music.     Scheherazade Interactive is a music education experience based on the beautiful music of Rimsky-Korsakov and includes games that teach rudiments of music and listening skills based on the National and State standards of music education.   • Brahms in 1890s Vienna

    Brahms in 1890’s Vienna is an online educational experience featuring the Brahms Clarinet Trio in A minor Opus 114 and setting the music in a story about him, and his city, Vienna, Austria. Music listening guides and music games explore the elements of music and the characters move through the historical sites of Vienna and are introduced to the art of the famous Gustav Klimt. Resources and additional information can be found by clicking on “Café Central”, and at the end of the story, kids can enjoy three related experiences in Prater Park. A standards based lesson plan is available to teachers complete with downloads about art and history/architecture.
