Team

Jama Laurent, Ph.D., is the President of the Creative Kids Education Foundation, a private operating Foundation in Los Angeles with a mission dedicated to classical music education. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Southern California School of Music, and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology. Jama has shaped the mission and focus of the Foundation as well as developed, written and produced all the Foundation’s internet projects.

Matthew Janszen has been awarded by ASCAP, BMI, the Henry Mancini Institute, and Turner Classic Movies. His music continues to be heard in concert halls, theatre productions, film and television. Matthew’s versatility has landed him many opportunities in film, TV, and advertising, composing music for networks such as Lifetime, Syfy, ABC, and Hallmark. In 2011 he was accepted into the ASCAP Film and TV Scoring Workshop and awarded the Harold Arlen Film and TV Award from the ASCAP Foundation. Matthew received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in acoustical engineering and his master’s degree in sound design from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Matthew studied composition at the Henry Mancini Institute with world-renowned film and jazz composers.
